妇女历史月

每年三月, the Center for Multicultural Engagement and 包容 (CMEI), 的 Gender Institute for Advocacy and Teaching, 的 Office of Diversity and 包容, and the University of Colorado – 丹佛 Women and Gender 学生服务 Department commemorates 妇女历史月. What began simply as a Women’s History Week in the United States has evolved into an entire month full of celebration, 教育, and commemoration of women who come before us. We celebrate this month with all who identify as women including, but not limited to women of color, trans-women, 同性恋的女性, and all other marginalized groups of women. We hope to create co-curricular programing with our partners to highlight and amplify the voices of women who are continuing to create change as well as champion for women on the Auraria campus. 3月8日th, we also recognize International Women’s Day. We want to acknowledge the oppression of trans, 非二进制, gender-confirming, and women-identified individuals with emphasis on uplifting voices from the respective community. 

今年的主题是 Women who advocate for diversity, 股本, 和包容 honors women in every community have devoted their lives and talents to pursuing justice and truth in all aspects of our lives.

Feminist State of the Union
